google apps and google accounts
why cant i associate a google app email with a google account? i had my domain slumbrparty.com on google apps and then realized you can make a google account with an arbitrary name. naturally, i picked my email. if you want to associate a google account with an email, they make you choose a @gmail.com email.
i would be fine if i could use everything such as reader with my google apps account,...

why my android battery sucks
the battery on my G1 does not last for a full day, which totally sucks. i suspect it is because it keeps trying to find a GPS signal but cannot. I have since turned off locale for location, but that didnt seem to have stopped the satellite icon from sending those green waves up to the sky. someone please help me, you’re my only hope.

so this is awesome. in certain contexts, like right after you reboot or if you didnt do anything that would bring you out of this “context”, the android phone accepts inputs from stdin and executes them as root. so, you can just type “reboot”, the enter, and even if the phone is locked, it will reboot the phone. totally awesome. you can do other fun things, such as run...
