evernote is useful
i’ve got the iphone 3G. i’m not going to go into a regular review or anything else like that. one thing that i would like to note, however, is that i’ve found something that i’ve wanted for long time. i’ve tried to use thought/idea organizers such as omnifocus, tomboy notes, and GTD apps, but none of them were quite good enough. it wasnt so much that features were missing, but rather, i couldn’t access the data from anywhere i wanted. with evernote, its a fairly simple note taking application that also allows for video, audio, and photo notes. the good thing is that it syncs between everything. they have a mac, windows, web, and iphone client. the search features allow for finding text in pictures, which sound insanely useful, especially for things like pictures of handwritten notes. the fact that i can read and write notes to remind myself to do things and other information is really really useful.
