steps of strays
i dreamt that i was in caesar’s rome, walking the cobble stone streets. even though i had to catch a flight in ten minutes, i implored my friend to walk down this back alley on the edge of town with me. there resided all of the city’s stray cats. when you pass, they would all look at you with their mouths open as if they were in the middle of a ferocious yawn. i awoke before the conclusion through the steps of strays.
